I can't keep up with the changes

Can't say this anymore or must say or use this. Once fine men from our history are now like Voldemort and never to be spoke of (or seen), men are women and women are men and men and women can be one of many genders (get back to that), and now a guy can not only be a gal, but he also may be called he/she/they or whatever the F else. So many changes in such little time! For every new gender created another person in history apparently gets canceled and removed.

Speaking of genders... I used to once think we had men and women, boys and girls, male or female... fairly easy. But nope, I was naive and quite the dummy. I had no idea!! Luckily some great people came along and corrected all of us! I got a little confused though for awhile. What I thought started out as those 2 genders, turned to 43 genders overnight! By the time I finished even looking over and chuckling a little at the list, 7 more genders were found by scientists and we were now up to 50 genders. Then came along the group of 57 genders, and this one became official for some time. That time was about one day until Facebook made it official at 58 genders. A month later things jumped to 63 genders, followed by a large spike to 81 genders. Now I could be wrong with this one, as it seems new genders are added as quickly as one would change their underwear, and shirts and pants too.... and now resides at 112 genders!

One would maybe find it comical that so many gender changes are happening. But it's really a very exciting time to be around right now, as scientists are finally able to identify what we have been missing for so long.

Then ya got this great change!!

Instead of that word "Mom" we have used for a spell now, that referred to the woman who gave birth to each of us individually & then raised us.

But that sounds so dumb, they changed it to "birthing people" and "birthing person".

Republican Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford challenged Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra Thursday over the department’s use of the term “birthing people.”

Lankford questioned Becerra during a Senate Finance Committee hearing on the President’s Fiscal Year 2022 Budget, according to a press release from Lankford’s office. The Senator asked about the “language in the President’s proposed budget regarding maternal health that referred to ‘birthing people’ instead of mothers even though the science is clear that women give birth.”

“I also noticed you changed a term in your budget work. You shifted from using the term “mother” to “birthing people” rather than mother. Can you help me get a good definition of “birthing people”? Lankford asked.

This is getting to be so ridiculous. My granddaughter informed me that we couldn't ask her how her "sisters' were doing (3 sisters from her dad and step "birthing person"). Her 16 yo sister now identifies as one if the 100+ genders now so we have to ask "how are your siblings"? Because they don't all identify as female.

I told her that's a crock of crap ... she's mad at me again.

I hear ya. We're at straight-up war here. I refuse to acknowledge and/or cater to it. Name's Hannah and you're a girl. Changed your shitty diaper enough to be sure.

This is what the great internet has done for our grandchildren. In the hands of innocent and uneducated children it's teaching them reality isn't that oncoming train; rather, whatever the computer screen tells them it is.

It is incomprehensibly ridiculous because it is not logic, reality, nor fact based. Hard to argue against stupid fantasy.
