Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a throwdown to Joe Biden’s school board cops over at the Department of Justice.

This week, Attorney General Merrick Garland ordered the FBI to begin looking into cases of “domestic terrorists” showing up at school board meetings across the nation to rail against mask mandates and the racist “critical race theory” programs.

PJ Media’s Stacey Lennox noted that Garland’s response to a complaint by a National School Boards Association was an obvious attempt to chill free speech and turn understandably concerned parents into “domestic terrorists,” as the letter called the parents.

PJ Media’s Megan Fox looked at all the incidents the organization listed as “domestic violence” or “hate crimes” in its letter, and, after laughing at what passes for “domestic terrorism” to these pant loads, investigated every single one.

Indeed, school boards are so unclear about what constitutes a threat that Garland’s goons will teach them.

Sending Fibbies to investigate a local school board meeting is weird, to say the least. It’s akin to using a 100mm Howitzer when a popgun would have done the job.

and it's weird to me that that some republicans or conservatives still have a hard time admitting that MOST of them we're 100% on board with the all the unconstitutional patriot acts, unconstitutional indefinite detention and secret prisons, unconstitutional spying on all U.S commincations, unconstitutional searches and seizures, unconstitutional secret courts, unconstitutional tribunals, unconstitutional war powers, unconstitutional renditions, unconstitutional world wide war-on-terror, unconstitutional torture, unconstitutional Military use on U.S. soil (USNORTHCOM), unconstitutional "kill list", etc etc.

All initiated and PUSHED HARD by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and a series of Bush A.G.s. and ScumBag "conservative" lawyers. Even to defending many of the actions to the supreme court. "For our safety." and "9/11!". And if anyone said anything against any of it were called "unrealistic" at best and "liberals" who hated America and wanted the terrorist to WIN by most conservative and or republicans. Because the constitution is not a suicide pack and the like.
Somehow those folks never believed when told that much of it was ALREADY being used on U.S.citizens or that any of it would ever be pointed squarely at good Americans like themselves , just those shaddy people.

Did the Liberal lawmakers help the whole thing along? Sure did, most of the country was in a fearful war fever similar the blind Covid fear and vaccine fever some have. The liberal leadership had to ride the wave of fear or lose ground (and corporate donors). there were only a few principled anti war and pro constitution people. But their voices were drowned out by the left that simply hated Bush. And the part of the right that LOVES and trust a big authoritarian military gov't protecting us all... BY ANY means. Including denying or ignoring the constitution.
Literally the SAME general argument for vaccine mandates was used by some on the right to promote all the unconstitutional abuses of Bush Cheney and crew.
Something along the lines of "You can't use your 'rights' if you're DEAD."

But Now the left has got the ball and never had a good grasp on the idea of "rights". They're manically tossing the right of "freedom o speech" into the crapper. A right they once defended powerfully and often better than most on the right. And Backing the power of Corporations, of all things, to control the masses. the irony is bizarre. And NOW adding to that, simply trying to use the unconstitutional tools BUSH put in place, that Obama solidified, and Trump was too ignorant to deal with.
But somehow everyone is STILL pretending that it's a left/right issue when the fact is the only winners will be the political and corporate elite who will NOT have to abide by ANY of the rules. While whats left of upper, middle and lower class will have to endure all the unconstitutional BS.

The argument at your link is why I usually give a ho-hum to even people on the right calling other right wingers "conspiracy theorists", racist and/or organizations, terrorists, etc. NOW it's parents.

See how easy it is to be labeled the bad guy? By the government no less. Not saying there are no rightwingnuts out there. Jan 6th would disprove that. But accepting a government label because the MSM and US government says so doesn't cut it with me.

People should be so quick to judge all the people the US government, especially under Dems, tell us are bad guys without doing some homework.
