Amazon is crowing about a survey with 80% employee satisfaction. The dirty little secret is that people who respond negatively to the survey magically find themselves on a "Performance Improvement Program", which is the first step to getting fired. I like to call this reconciling perception against reality.
At some point, perception has to reconcile with reality. All of reality has tangible fact as a base. At some point, perception must be discarded and the base addressed for any REAL change to come about. Addressing perceptions as the problem leads to inconsequential change.
