So, as you can see, there are EIGHT (!) candidates to choose from - rather wide choice. They reflect a wide political spectrum of our country. The only criteria for ANY candidate to be elected is to gain the MAJORITY of votes in a campaign, where EVERY voice is counted in favor of EACH candidate. Nobody can argue that only such a system can be called DEMOCRATIC securing that the MAJORITY define those who will rule the State.

Besides, it will be interesting to look at the percentage of those, who will vote in the Crimea and how many votes Putin will gain. This will be another kind of referendum on the Crimea, and even a hereditary, genetic and natural idiot will understand what Crimean desires are.

Too bad you can't have an intelligent conversation. I guess you're saying you don't know what Crimea wants ....

I believe that Saddam Hussein claimed such a level of support for HIS regime.

But then, he ran a dictatorship, well known for brutalising some of its inhabitants.

    Wonderful stuff, eh ...

NEW YORK, March 12. /TASS/. Early voting in the Russian presidential election ended in the United States on Sunday. Russian nationals living in San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles were the lost to cast their ballots, said Russia’s Consulate General in Seattle, whose staff members organized the vote.
"There were no incidents in the first two cities. Everything went smoothly. In Los Angeles, everything was within reasonable bounds," the Consulate General said.
Polling stations were arranged in ten US cities. Russian citizens were earlier able to vote in Boston (Massachusetts), Albany (New York), Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Miami (Florida), Atlanta (Georgia), Chicago (Illinois) and Minneapolis (Minnesota).
To conduct voting in the United States on March 18, polling stations will open in the Russian diplomatic missions - in the Embassy in Washington, DC, the Consulates General in New York, Seattle (Washington) and Houston (Texas).
Russia's presidential election will be held on March 18. Eight contenders are vying for the presidential office. They are incumbent head of state Vladimir Putin who is seeking another presidential term as an independent candidate for Russia’s highest public office, LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, businessman Pavel Grudinin running as the Communist Party of the Russian Federation’s candidate, Yabloko party co-founder Grigory Yavlinsky, leader of the Party of Growth and business ombudsman Boris Titov, head of the Russian People’s Union party Sergey Baburin, TV personality and socialite Ksenia Sobchak (nominated by Civil Initiative) and leader of the Communists of Russia Maxim Suraikin.

One might hope that the 'event' (i.e attempted assassination) one week ago in Salisbury, UK, isn't having its effect upon the 'voters' .. ? That they don't feel pressured to knuckle under to Putin's will .. ?

Unfortunately, not everyone is as, ahem, 'lucky'. Putin is VERY sure of the fate he's carving out for Crimea ...

    http://tass.com/politics/993458

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said returning Crimea to Ukraine is impossible under whatever circumstances.

"What are you talking about? Such circumstances do not exist and never will," he said in response to a question whether such circumstances may ever appear.

The question was asked in an interview for Andrei Kondrashov’s film "Putin," posted on social networks.
Apparently, Putin knows what the people of Crimea want, and will always want, for all time ... no elections, or Referenda on the subject, will ever be necessary !

    Remarkable.

Putin .. the dazzlingly accurate clairvoyant. Or, Putin, the ruthless power-grabbing dictator, who has no time for any democratic process that fails to serve his interests ?

Crimea’s head warns about possible provocations during presidential elections

    Russian Politics & Diplomacy
    February 12, 16:32 UTC+3 SIMFEROPOL
Presidential elections in Russia will be held on March 18, 2018

SIMFEROPOL, February 12. /TASS/. Crimea’s head, Sergei Aksyonov, has warned about a terrorist threat and possible provocations during presidential elections.

"Potential threat may come from the Kiev regime and the so-called activists, who have said that more than once. Apart from that, it is not ruled out that members of international terrorist organizations may infiltrate into Crimea via the border with Ukraine," he wrote on his Facebook account on Monday.
He pledged that "extra security measures will be taken both at the border and at polling stations, and across the entire territory of the republic in general."
He did not rule possible provocations during the elections. "We don’t rule out provocations. Crimea is ready for that. Any attempts at provocations will be nipped in the bud, quickly and toughly. As it was done in the days of the Crimean Spring," he said.
Presidential elections in Russia will be held on March 18, 2018. It will be the first such poll in Crimea after it reunified with Russia in March 2014.

They can place 25,000 candidates out there and it doesn't mean jack shit about fairness, equality - or somehow deny the fact that Putin is a 3rd world country piece of dog shit who can only lead via many illegal methods and having his little commie KGB homosexual friends in helping him "dismiss" of a little competition.

Russia is a beautiful country filled with a lot of shit, led by an even bigger piece of shit.

Oh, and Russia is no military "power" anymore, unless picking on small neighbors counts, or helping terrorism along in other areas.

51% of Americans hacked the entire internet? I'll allow that to pass if you have trouble communicating languages here. But if what I read is on the up and up, and you truly meant that, well then you are as much of an idiot as Putin and Obama, and that's saying a LOT.

Putin didn't do jack shit, and not even our retarded liberals can come up with a slightest piece of evidence, and that's also saying a lot! Do you have more illegal efforts to try and pass by by your criminal piece of dog shit leader?

And sure, the amount of citizens in NY and Cali, liberal craps and pukes, made the percentages off balance - and that's why Trump still won. Take away just TWO areas, and he actually destroyed her.

But considering you have leaders who just kill their opponents that have the slightest chance, I guess you commies don't get much time to actually see legitimate politics and voting.

Say whatever you like about the greatest nation on Earth, the USA, I'm cool with that. I'm just sure as hell glad I wasn't born in commie shithole land, under the thumb of 3rd world leaders and having so many "rights" taken away. Just a nicer cleaner version of North Korea is all you have. Keep it and enjoy it, no thanks, wouldn't even take a paid for free trip there.
