Your responses are really starting to not make any logical sense.

Not logical sense .. agreed ! But ... a kind of sense, if you indulge in certain mental gymnastics ...

You have to remember that our Russian friend has his beliefs controlled for him by his own media. Their TV and radio comes under rigid Kremlin control. He's of a culture where you believe what your media force-feeds you. Dissent .. and the State gets increasingly aggravated with you. At worst, you suffer enormously if you fail to obey their line. You may not even survive your predisposition to having a free mind ...

Add to that the reality that ALL they get is propaganda, which may or may not have the smallest connection with TRUTH ... and you've a cocktail for enforced delusion.

Logical ? Hardly !!! But to Russians, it's down to what you're required to believe, not what is actually true.

Propaganda = fact, in Russia. The 'logic' is what's perceived. Truth is what the State requires it to be, not what it IS.

I've a funny feeling that if their media started saying the Earth was flat, the people there would believe it, and the Presidential candidate claiming such would still get his 'democratic' majority ... if his name happened to be Vladimir Putin ...
