But you are correct, they are all different from one another...

Mexican food in South Carolina sucks. Bigly.
I like AZ Mexican food. Gunny counts the sticks in IL as all of IL, he's so wrong. Lots of good Mexican places in Chicago area, where Mexicans actually live.

I've to Chicago, missy. Stepdaughter lives there. And Peoria is not quite the sticks. I was just expressing a preference for a specific style of Mexican. It's different here. A LOT spicier for one thing.

I always thought the sticks started at Aurora and Joliet. When my dad was a kid, they probably started at oak park.

I actually did live out in the sticks. I liked it. Just cost too much and there was no work.

I can imagine. I remember hearing no one below I-80 votes like those above it.

Well my cousins lived in the city when I was really young, moved to Oak Park when I was in kindergarten. They said we live 'in the country.' Elmhurst at the time had over 40k people, just not multi-family housing. LOL!

Past DeKalb is 'country.' I get to define it. Peoria is a town out in the sticks. Used to have heavy manufacturing, but that was gone years ago with exception of Caterpillar, which just announced the plant closing.
