I saw the video of this shooting and I don't think the cops did the right thing here. The video isn't great but it seems to show one of the cops shooting the kid before the car even stopped. That's not right.

I think it will be found to be a good shooting. Read an article just a little while ago where 2 outside folks stated he was in the OK, as the call came in as a guy with a gun being waved around and folks in danger. I think it's a tragedy, but tragedies happen when kids do dumb things. Fake guns ain't no joke these days, especially if you go into a public setting.

I don't love or hate cops but I know their job can be dangerous so I'm not in the habit of second guessing someone who has to shoot. In this case though I can't support that cop in any way. There wasn't enough time for him to feel threatened.
