I in my youth I used that --line-- quite a few times.

Just before I beat the living hell out of a truly, most deserving asshole...
Three times it was for a guy having made rude, inappropriate remarks to
three different girl friends. Couple more for rude remarks made about one my sisters,
a few more times about remarks made about and to my first wife.
In my youth, I tolerated no kind of bullshit or crude rude assholes.
Sometimes a beating is deserved and even a must!
A man stands up for what is decent and right or else he is not a man..
I have found that standard to be a truism and a golden principle to live by..
