This one is the wifey and I! I will laugh at her when she cries over a damned commercial or something like that. Then when the Steelers lose, she's like "It's just a game, they'll get 'em next week" - I just give her the evil eye and play her this video every time:

Kids get out of school around here and I see them scurry across the roads and all go home, never to be seen again. All sitting at home on their electronics now. I go the the parks often and never see kids playing football or baseball just with their friends.

Did the same as you back then and would gather all the friends and friends of friends and end up at the park playing some tackle football! Or baseball, basketball or even just doing jumps over the hills we would make, without any helmets of course. We never wanted to be at home and our parents rarely wanted us there! And if I didn't go out and do something and my Dad saw me, he would just start handing out chores until I hated life.

And ya needed 2 friends with a ball, as inevitably one would get angry and take their ball and go home!
