Clintonoids in the DOJ probably lurk these forums.

I am good friends with George Casey... I have many many friends who are NOT lebanese muslims and I certainly cannot benchpress anywhere near that weight.
Your personal attacks, although unnoticed and unremarked upon by our uber-partisan moderator, are, nonetheless, pretty lame.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself."
Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC)
I would give Tancredo more than a snowball's chance. They didn't flash to him during the SOTU for nothing during the moment Bush proposed amnesty for illegals.
We can be sure of this: A Tancredo run will force the immigration issue into the 2008 presidential election in a way that it didn't quite surface during the 2006 Congressional race. That may end up being the real value. The question is how well will the new Democratic majority handle it. And whether amnesty can be put off...
America: White people footing the bill for a party they're not allowed to attend.
my guess is that Bush will have signed a bill from the democratic congress with moderate republican support long before Tancredo gets any traction on this issue.
