Default Bob Dylan is honored by president with Medal of Freedom

I've never heard of this award before.

On Tuesday, Bob Dylan received the nation's highest civilian honor, accepting the MedalofFreedom from President Obama. "There is not a bigger giant in the history of American music," Obama said of the singer.
The Medal of Freedom is presented to individuals who have made "meritorious contributions to the national interest of the United States, to world peace, or to other significant endeavors," according to the WhiteHouse.

The President also honored Toni Morrison and Madeline Albright and a ton of other folks. Bravo! This is the highest civilian honor a President can bestow.

    Who's Toni Morrison?
He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.AeschylusRead more at http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/qu...zeMUwcpY1Io.99

    The President called them HEROES.
“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

That probably doesn't make Chris Hayes uncomfortable though... see...it's okay when the progressives get to define words and actions or everyone else.
