Agreed, now to convince more women of that. I've battled that problem for over 35 years myself. As Shattered said somewhere on the board, I'm shorter than her, 5'2" almost. My weight at one point was 75, then ballooned to 145, that was 3 years ago. I'm at about 105 and trying to say that's good, to myself.

Yet I find myself going overboard on the excercise now that I'm feeling better. I know I'm being a bit too careful on what I'm buying, when even my dad is noticing that other than meat, it's 'low fat.' I can't imagine if I were 25...

For now anyway. I don't believe my comment rose to the kind of cheap shot taken at me. He could have expessed his displeasure in a PM, but rather chose to try and embarrass me on the board, just for the sake of a common expression I've heard ALL over, MANY times. Had I known someone was going to be THAT SENSITIVE about it, I wouldn't have said it.

Why would I pay for it when I can get it for free?

Tell me about it. In college, when I was 5'8", and 115 lbs., and my friends told me I was starting to look too thin, my then-boyfriend said I could lose a few more lbs.

I was eating one meal a day, and felt badly about myself for a while. I finally realized he had problems, and I moved on.

Yep, but this thread actually does illustrate that it's probably ourselves to blame for what we think is attractive. Avatar put it well.

How on earth do you need to lose weight at 115 when you are any size?

must be. cant figure out why any woman would think they are too fat at 115 myself. girls that are too skinny can be quite scary.

I once saw a woman who was incredibly scary looking. she was so thin that she literally looked like smaller than an inch thick and disappeared when sideways. it was just the scariest looking person i ever saw.

I didn't think I was too fat at 115. But sometimes we listen to dumb boys when we shouldn't. I should have known you guys in college.

It sucks to be born with what you got and feel the need to compete against those born with what others think is more.

Those boys must have been dumb. cause thats the only reason i could ever see a guy telling a 115lbs girl to lose weight.
