What if Russia said, OK, we have the power to rid the world of ISIS, and make the West measurably more secure against Islamic terrorism. Would that, then, in return, entitle them to say that, in 'payment', a NATO territory of their choice should cease to expect any rights or protections written into the very fabric of what NATO exists to defend ?
I for one am not 'into' paying Mafia-like protection fees. You don't dispense with principle because a rival power just wants to flex its military muscle in a manner you just happen to like at the time.
Those are two separate issues my friend. Russia hitting ISIS and the provocative way they've always tested air space . They've only been doing the provocative air space testing for 50+ years now.....
The ISIS hitting does the entire world a favor.. And gives me such great cheer!--Tyr
