    The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

The scorpion replies: "It's my nature..."

Jillian used to pretend she was an attorney.

Seems the dems were very prone to overactive imagination when it came to their online persona.

I was stung by a Wood Scorpion in Phoenix, for real. I was renting a room from a friend of mine in Phoenix before I moved up to Deer Valley to go to MMI, and we were sitting at the dining room table talking one afternoon when I felt something crawling up my left side, I had no shirt on, and I swiped my hand to knock it off and noticed that it was a scorpion. It stung the middle finger on my left hand and instantly left a tiny little white dot. It didn't hurt all that much, possibly because I was working construction and had hard calluses on my hands. But I called 911 and told them what had happened and they sent out an ambulance. They asked are you short of breath, are you dizzy, do you feel nauseous, etc, etc, and the answer was no to all the questions. They said well, you're probably one of the hundred thousand to one that a scorpion sting doesn't effect. I think maybe it didn't get me very bad because I had such thick calluses on my hands, regardless, now I'm THE SCORPION KING... ...

One other thing, I had my big orange tiger cat, Buttons, and they said one of the best defenses against scorpions was a cat, because for some odd reason the sting doesn't bother them at all. I know this is true because one night he cornered IN MY BEDROOM, and he was knocking it all around and I know it was stinging him but he never even flinched. I moved OUT of there shortly after that.

Might be... IDK... I did catch the damn thing in a jug and the EMT's told me it was a Wood Scorpion...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cercophonius_squama

I put it in the freezer and that killed it. It was probably 3" long or so. I showed it around but people in AZ see them all the time. They're ravenous feeders, so if you have other bugs in your house chances are you'll have scorpions too.

If you've ever seen the movie, The Outlaw Josey Wales, when he's on "Chief's" front porch talking to him and he spits at a scorpion, looked just like that one. I saw "Sand Scorpions" in that guys house too, and those things can move like greased lightening. UGLY freakin' bugs. This guy I rented the room from called himself "BUFFALO BOB." His real name was Robert Muffaletto. A big old Italian from the BRONKS... Decent guy though.
