Much more recently, Greenland was much during the Medieval Warm Period, a period lasting from 700 AD to about 1300 AD. In fact, Vikings raised cattle and lived on farms along its southern coast for approximately 100 to 200 years.

Around 1300, however, the weather turned colder and the Vikings were forced to move back to Scandanavia.

Not that I'm disagreeing with you but do you have any links with evidence to support your claim?
