And the ones who do come home maimed . . . I want them not to have to wait what must seem like forever to get taken care of.

I never said saddam was a threat... I saw him as a distraction from our true enemy... Al Qaeda and Osama Been Forgotten...

Had they listened to the advice of the generals in the beginning, it might have made a difference... but now? sorry... too little too late... it's a civil war now... and our guys are in the middle of it...

So you believe that troops should not be sent to war or situations where they could get maimed or killed?

You obviously have NO idea what "support the troops" means.

Sure... bring it on... but seriously, what do YOU consider to be support for the troops?

Adequate body armor? we citizens shouldn't have to provide our military with support like that, that should come from the government...

    Proper training? see above...

    Adequate rest between deployments? ditto...

ohhhhhhhhh, I know... a yellow magnetic ribbon for your SUV... and fly the flag on July 4th.... is that your idea of support for the troops?

call this whatever you like, but at the end of the day this is all the people that wanted to go originally to remove a bad man from power .... giving up.

I agree, HC... I support the troops... I want them home with their families protecting OUR borders... not being killed in a foreign land where the people don't care enough about their own country, or countrymen, to stop fighting...

    Default dog turd

OCA: I don't have a problem with your point of view, but your avatar is frickin' disgusting.

It looks like a fresh dog turd on top of a day-old dog turd, with some other, equally disgusting stuff mixed in.

Do you like being a disgusting person?
